No. Puts more onus on Buffalo to flip Monohan, CGY can and should do that, Valimaki is redundant, Sabres are set with LD (Dahlin-Power-Samuelsson-Johnson-Valimaki) if Valimaki was so good he wouldnt be a thrown-in on trades in the majority of CGY ACGMs. Zary and the '22 first would be 2 pieces but its still off. Also the 4 first rounders thing was debunked weeks ago. Krebs > Zary - Hague >> Valimaki

Not sure what you have against Valimaki. We expect him to be a top 4 guy this year, but of course he's available for Eichel. Plays on the right side too btw where he is IMO more effective.

Its not like they need him now, theyre tanking for Wright, so Power Samuelsson and Johnson all get another year to mature, Samuelsson is already NHL ready and Power is coming to the NHL as soon as he signs, so Valimaki is the odd man out after 1 year

One of Chuky, Mang or Johny needs to go. All 3 are due for raises and flames won't have money to sign them if they get Eichel without moving one out.
If its mang that's moving then you also need to ship out someone like monahan.
