Detroit doesn't want Byron, And Adams pretty much just said that Eichel is likely staying with buffalo for the time being.

Byron is 32 making 2 x $3,400,000 take far more then a 4th round pick to take him on. plus we've 0 space for Byron. FYI 4th round picks have less then a 10% chance of ever making it to the NHL. Yzerman would want a 2nd round pick in return for Paul Byron.

That’s funny thinking Caufield or Suzuki would be untouchable in a deal with Eichel.

Nielsen is likely buried in Grand Rapids, Our center depth right now is likely Larkin, Suter, Rasmussen and possibly Gagner down the middle or Chase Pearson as our 4C Yeah we don't have a spot for him. Yzerman plans on signing 2 more RH forwards. once we sign our 5 RFAs we're basically at our 23 man roster limit and that's even burying Nielsen in Grand Rapids.

So because Stan Bowman's an idiot, Steve Yzerman is too? Don't be ridiculous.

Just so it’s fully clear. You wouldn’t trade Caufield because in his D+2 NCAA he scored 30 goals? You’re also cherry picking that 2 goals for Eichel for some odd reason but let’s discredit the near PPG production this year + amazing track record.

Seems odd considering most bonafide elite US players play in the NCAA their draft or D+1 then go pro. He’ll even Larkin was pro I wouldn’t even put him in the same stratosphere as Eichel/Matthews. It’s like anyone that points to his NTDP production and say it’s better than Matthews, Kessel, etc. who graduated the program much earlier.

doesnt matter i wouldnt trade caufield once he hits his prime he will be scoring 40 goals a season easily if he plays a full season and will probably hit 50 a few times

Wrong again. So someone that uses quantitive data to debunk wildly outlier speculation is a Sabres fan?

Because I don’t buy your opinion that Caufield wouldn’t be moved for Eichel? You provided no valid points nor have debunked any of mine. The only thing you’ve done thus far is personal attacks against a team that’s has had more recent success than the Habs.

They to lost the habs in the playoffs and they haven’t won a Stanley cup all they r good at is having zero respect for the players who got them to were they r rn all they care abt is winning a cup before the fans get mad bc they haven’t experienced a poor season they traded fleury and he found out on Twitter that is pure disrespect I hope they learn a lesson
