Whats Sanfords playing style like?

Big guy who has a solid shot. Nothing exciting. Nothing troubling. He's a big third liner who can score a little. He plays defense though.

6 games a year he plays like Gordie Howe. And 76 games he's a big dummy.

Kidding aside, he has a good reach and slick hands to stickhandle in traffic, and he has a deceptive shot that beats a lot of goalies. But he's inconsistent and since he's not a play-driver or physical player, when he fades it's a full on disappearing act. Needs to be on a line with good possession players and he'll produce. Tbh he isn't worth the headache.

Blues pass, Sanford has flaws but his certainly more useful than Thompson. This does nothing for them now, which might have worked pre-free agency, but no longer.
