Outside of Toronto's 1st round pick, Not a single one of those players is needed. Detroit easily declines. With Pius Suter added to the team Tyler Bertuzzi is absolutely going nowhere. Especially for meaningless pieces.

Putting Mikheyev in that spot would put the team over the cap. Hopefully Ho-Sang pulls through and takes that spot or the Leafs resign Galchenyuk under 1 million.

Dermott, a prospect and a 1st is not a low-ball offer. I think Red Wings fans like you are overvaluing Bertuzzi. He's not going to put up point per game numbers. He is a top six utility player who adds that physical element. He is not going to get the return that Eichel is going to get.

Funny you say that and then you put him on your 1st line. Is he getting the same return as Eichel, no, but he will get better than what you are offered. I find it funny you try to discredit him and then you want to trade for him..

Wings DO NOT NEED TO TRADE Bertuzzi. Why do Leaf fans think Steve Yzerman would accept this offer, he has no reason to trade him. Why do you think he has to trade him?

Engvall is a 4th line Winger/Center we've better in the organization then him, At LD we've Leddy, DeKeyser, Staal and Osterle once again Dermott isn't needed and Der-Arguchintsev is meh at best and the late 2022 1st round pick we can do better. No one here is comparing Bertuzzi to Eichel. on a very good team Bertuzzi is a 50-60 point per season player that's pretty much in .075 PPG territory. Go ahead and continue to give us your scraps for Bertuzzi he will never be a Leaf anyways and yeah this is a low-ball offer for Tyler considering he's not even on the market.

Mantha wasn't on the market until Yzerman decided to trade him. He's stealthy like that. So Bertuzzi is not untouchable. I think a trade can be beneficial for both teams.

And I have him on the first line not because he's a first line caliber player but because the Leafs are so weak on the left side he would automatically slot in on the top line. On a truly great team like Tampa Bay Bertuzzi is on the third line, playing the role of a Gourde or a Coleman.

There's no comparison from Bertuzzi to Mantha, Mantha was a lazy under-performing player which Bertuzzi isn't. Bertuzzi is a heart and soul guy that plays hard every shift unlike Mantha who was pretty much a lazy floater on most nights. Bertuzzi is absolutely available for the right price and this isn't it. We're not taking your scraps you want Bertuzzi it's going to cost you at least Robertson and then some Leaf fans can offer their trash all they want Bertuzzi will be dealt to the highest bidder and that's not going to be Toronto.

He's a good option. If its possible I hope Dubas signs him and trades for Bertuzzi. The Leafs need more physicality in the top six.

You don't need Bertuzzi and the Wings aren't going to deal him for next to nothing which is what the Leafs have to offer

Detroit does not have to trade Bertuzzi.

Bertuzzi have not asked for a trade.

Detroit have not put Bertuzzi on the block.

This is you trying to trade for a player Detroit doesn't want to lose.

Dermott is a 3rd pairing D, Engvall is a fringe NHLer, SDA is a B prospect, and the 1st is going to be late in the draft. Bertuzzi is way more valuable to the Wings than the package you offered.
Also, think of the return Mantha got for Detroit. A good young scoring winger, a late 1st, 2nd, and a mild cap dump. Your offer for Bertuzzi is nowhere close to that mark. Another note, because the Leafs are so weak on the left side, that would make the asking price for Bertuzzi go even higher, because Detroit has something you need, and has little incentive to move him.

On top of that, it is an interdivisional trade, which rarely happens and when it does, the team acquiring the player they need usually plays more than usual.
