Yikes, I’m not sure about this one. I mean he’s still a serviceable backup, but he won’t be able to play more that 15-20 games.

It'd be hilarious for Buffalo to send a 40-year-old Anderson out for nearly every game like a discount Martin Brodeur.

As of now, the last player left that was (originally) drafted in the 90s. Ryan Miller retired. Chara, Marleau, and Thornton unsigned.

I sometimes still think of him as the backup goalie stuck behind Vokoun in Florida. That was a while ago now I guess. Lol. I also remember him carrying an upstart Colorado to a surprise season and when they lost after a hard fought first round he did a lap of the ice to cheers and thanks from the fans. Was cool

Honestly, good on the guy. He's clearly well past his prime, but if he wants to keep playing and will take min salary, and someone will sign him, why not? Power to him.

Also just noticed something. While he was drafted in 1999, he didn't sign a contract and re-entered the draft and was re drafted in 2001. Haha

Not behind that defense it isn't. He'll face 40-50 shots a night.
