I think I honestly could have done better but today has been a wild rollercoaster so I just threw up the craziest roster I could while also being within the realm of “reality”. I also really doubt Sakic will give up Timmons so I overplayed a little with a second (considering J.T.’s $3.5 AAV)

I saw I’m late to the Kuemper trade. Honestly I was kinda hoping to keep Timmons but it’s not surprising Arizona wanted him.

It wouldve been nice to keep him - I like your trade better than the real one. At least the Avs have enough RHD prospects that its not the end of the world. Barron had good numbers in his AHL games last year and Helleson is looking decent too

Agreed. I believe Sakic got MacDermid in case of the scenario that played out today: Getting a replacement for Timmons in case Grubauer signed elsewhere since his negotiations were reportedly not going well and having Timmons as trade bait (+More grit). I think Barron is going to replace Timmons role in the the next two years and I think the Avs prospects are going bring the team back up to the point where they were last year over a period of 3 years or so. I hope Sakic works it out, it would suck if we came out of this great period without a cup (or even a finals appearance).
