Given the term left on the deals and the AAV I don’t agree with “Gaudreau, not close”

I appreciate all the responses, it’s clear the Flyers would have to add in a two for two.

Konecny has outscored a 65 point pace once in his career. Gaudreau has never scored BELOW that pace, and is regularly significantly higher. You don’t trade elite top line talents for god 2nd liners that might play on some top lines. Term means nothing to me because Gaudreau has indicated he wants to remain in Calgary and would likely be fine resigning in Philly too
