Anaheim needs top calibre left handed defenceman so I think they'd be set on Byram being a dealbreaker - be smarter for Colorado to make a deal elsewhere for a goalie that's better and doesn't cost as much.
I think if he can be had at the right price, with the way the Avs d is locked up, AND if you can get them to eat enough of that salary for 5 million, it's fine, probably projects as a slightly better Grubauer, we love it.
