I don't dislike this. Forbort has been notorious for injuries and poor possession stats, but he was just fine last year. Still, we have a logjam on the left side, so somebody will need to switch sides.

Feel like John Moore all over again

Forbort was good for the jets, but he was also bad at times. He would be very good in a 3rd pairing role but nothing more.

Overpay though for a 3rd pairing defensemen.

Most of the good things with signing Reilly is offset by this. Forbort is a Brendan Carlo (whom I don't particularly like above a 3rd pairing role) with even worse results. Pretty disappointing that this is the type of kidney they'd toss around for a marginally good PK player that provides negative value otherwise
