Fake rumor, Dave Pagnotta tweeted a half hour ago that Vegas said they don’t have any deal with Danault. I think they’re going after Eichel

They just traded Buch so that theres no debate anymore about Kakko and Krav’s minutes in the top 6. Theres no chance either of them are bumped to the third line again so that someone can play their off-wing.

Hopefully Goodrow’s work ethic rubs off on Kreider.

They traded Buch for multiple reasons, playing time was obviously a big one but also money. He wanted a long term deal that they couldn’t give because of the Kreider contract. If Kreider wasn’t here I honestly believe Buch would still be here whether it be long term or not

I know very well why Buch was traded. Someone was going to get traded, Kravtsov was not going to be playing on the 3rd line. The franchise made a full commitment to their 2nd and 9th overall picks.

The million-ish dollars Kreider is being overpaid is not why this is happening. If $1m is whats holding the team back theyve got bigger problems. To everyones dismay they will likely land Eichel needing the cap space to make it happen but as well to resign their franchise core.
