I would love for Damiani to push Comeau out of the lineup. A 4th line of Masherin-Faksa-Damiani could be fun to watch. You would then have a 3rd ine of Benn, Kiviranta and Dellandrea.

That's a pretty decent bottom six if Masherin and Damiani can translate 75% of their AHL game to the NHL.

You’re never going to get rid of some kind of checking line, not in Bowness system. I’d rather see Damiani in the AHL than stuck next to the offensive vacuum that is Radek Faksa.

Then trade Faksa and put Damiani in center of Masherin and Comeau. That is, if Damiani proves himself during training camp.

Bingo. Give me three scoring lines and let Bones have his checking line. Damiani gets the first call up to cover for an injury to an offensive forward
