Agree with you on Parsons, although if hes a throw in, its good to have options.

Phillips has potential, but needs the opportunity.

I wouldn't say nobody wants Kylington, I just think the price is too high because of how good of a skater he is and how hard that is to find.

For OP, I think you would have to swap Monahan for Zary to make the trade work. Buffalo is going to want to get a lot younger.

What are you talking about?? Two legit NHLers, one in Tkachuk that is a Line 1 LW, and a 2nd line center, plus 2 first round picks.

You are correct Parsons is a throw in but throw in a prospect who does not play GK.
With Levi, Portillo and Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen the Sabres have a really good GK prospect pool.
Phillips is probably an OK prospect and he plays center.
Kylington is also and OK add on but he plays LD, with Dahlin, Powers, Hagg, Bryson, Samuelsson, and possibly McCabe and Pilut, Buffalo does not need another.
I think you need to keep Monahan in the trade to balance the cap. Where does Tkachuk come into the conversation?

One young C Dillon Dube
A Prospect 2024 1st round pick (CGY) and 2022 3rd round pick (CGY)
B prospect Matthew Phillips
1st round pick 2022 1st round pick (CGY)
Salary back Sean Monahan
I think it punches all of the tickets. Monahan is not a pure cap dump, but the picks do not guarantee value.
Overall, I think it is a fair offer and Buffalo may accept it.
Replace Parsons and Kylington with a prospect of equal value and I cannot see Buffalo rejecting this offer.
