Probably not. Depending on the prospect.
Jenner probably gives more of a return than foligno did due to cap hit (at 50 percent retained) and position. So a first and a b prospect is what I ask.

We need a center. Good god we have no centers at all. Roslovic played center for the one year he was here tex and stens are young and inexperienced and Jenner is a defensive center one year away from being gone probably so he’s flipped.

Yeah but who they gonna go get in UFA that will actually be worth what we have to pay? Nobody this year, so let the guys get experience in a year with no expectations, then reevaluate next offseason

I know but to have no natural centers on a nhl roster isn’t a team that will have many individual success as the center is the most important piece.

sillinger is, Kent Johnson is listed as a Center but could move to the wing. but if even if one of them are centers they will be fine. Rosloivc and Domi are good middle 6 centers. if they have one of the two draft picks turn into a number 1 they will be good.

Domi is out till December at the earliest and while I’ll give you jack, and the futures we need to help laine and bjorkstrand get pucks across the ozone through the center of the ice and set up those guys in shooting lanes. I’m not saying sell the future just get a guy like a schmaltz/ Dvorak out of arizona or a strome/ suter out of Chicago. Someone who can play center is younger and can grow with the current and future core of the team.
