I agree that it doesn't make sense for Vancouver to add him. You have your top 2 centers. Now you have Garland, so there's really no room in that top 6.

No, there were off ice issues but MacLellan said he will not trade him unless the move makes the team better now. There isn't really a need to trade him, but he is garnering interest from a few teams. Vancouver, however, is not one of the teams rumored to be in on him. ANA SEA FLA NYR CBJ are the 5 heavily rumored, and it seems talks with the Rangers are potentially serious.

Yeah I figured as much. I just was pointing out that they definitely don’t need a center and now they definitely wouldn’t even add him to move someone to the wing.
