I think the value is good provided Lou signs a legit UFA forward. Think of Dunn as basically Leddy when we first acquired him. Similar player. Not an overly strong defensive zone player but will put up points.

Don't think SEA would keep Hickey either. Buy him out or bury in the minors. It's an expiring contract and not a high priority with $32m in space.

Yikes! That would be an easy yes from Seattle but why then did they not have that deal in place already? Also, giving up Beauvillier would hurt. I'd think it would be much more up Lou's alley to keep him and sign as a pair Suter and Parise. There are other ways this Islanders team can shed some cap space.
