I would be stunned if TOR get's anything close to that for Hyman's rights. I'm sure EDM would just sign a 7 year deal if this is the asking price.

for the hyman rights thing, its more the fact that they're saving 700k a year on his deal, that defiantly holds a lot of value. it's not just the first year you save 700k on, it's every year

honestly have no idea what kempes value is either, he seems to be loved by kings fans but I just don't see that much production to warrant it

I think if ARZ moves Garland, it's to go younger. Picks and prospects is likely the return they are looking for.

As far as I have read, EDM has an offer for 7 years for Hyman. If they are willing to offer that, I can't imagine they want to give up a 3rd round pick and prospect to save $500K in cap space and get him for an extra year. I could be wrong, but I sure wouldn't.
