Why do u think Garland and Dvorak combined are only worth the 11th overall and taking Seabrook. I think upgrade Kurashev to a better prospect and Arizona might be interested

Can't see ARI giving both if they take in bad contracts. Seems to be too much in Blackhawks favor this one.

I think Kurashev has pretty good value. He played well this year, but his value isn't this good

so drop seabrook and its good? Seabs isn't really owed much atcual cash. We dumped Hossa to AZ a few years ago basiclly for free. I don't see seabrook's contract having as much negative value as people think I guess. Moving an LTIR deal logistically helps the hawks if they plan to spend to the cap in the future. AZ basiclly never spends to the cap so it doesn't matter to them.cIt only affects the teams in the off season

I think that you're off your usually accurate aim here. Leave Seabrook out of it (for purposes of this discussion). In my opinion, Dvorak is worth more than the first, and Garland is worth more than the first, but let's assume that the value is even in both cases (especially when factoring in term). Each player is surely worth more than Kurashev and the future second. Alternatively, look at it this way: Arizona trades two quality top-6 forwards who are reaching towards their peak performance years. In return, Arizona gets effectively a prospect unlikely to have the same impact as either Coyote this season and maybe next plus two draft picks, the later of which probably won't hit the NHL until 2024-2025. I can't see it.

My thinking is that the 11th pick is more valuable than two picks in the late 20s. If I made this same proposal with the 2021 and 2022 picks but we assume they are both late 20's does that make it better? I don't think it does. Unless it's a goalie, the pick at 11 is likley ready sooner than 3-4 years from now like you suggested, and likley is of the same caliber or more likley better than garland or dvorak. If you think the guy at that pick isn't gonna be that then you have no faith in your scouting depatment. I get that no draft pick is a guarentee, but 11th OA still holds more value than you are suggesting in my opinion

I was only referring to the LATER of the two picks in my comment. I assume that the guy chosen with #11 would make his debut (assuming he's a forward, not a defenseman or goalie) in 2023-2024. Guys like Stutzle or Dach are rare, and anyway they're taken higher.
