Realisticaly, unless Doug is rebuilding, which he isn't and we have playoff aspirations then Zacha is the ticket. Not two guys that have a combined 13 NHL games. The value is off and we need players that can play today, not in 1-2 years.

I decline both of those but I’m higher on Clarke than most. I also wouldn’t use any of those assets in the Meier deal in any trade other than one for a top 4 defenseman

I mean sure I get the compete now mentality. I’m not in rebuild mode but with Foote at least, it seems like you could have a better, younger player with a higher ceiling than Zacha if you give him a couple years. He’s gonna be a full-time NHLer next year. Same with Bahl.

Definitely rust more than anything. Don't think he's a 30-40 guy anymore, but certainly worth more than that
