Would not shock me at all if Johnson is back next year. Assest management. Can't afford to lose any more pieces after the back to back cup wins. If they cannot move Johnson without giving up an asset like a player or high draft pick then I could see them moving Pally for a draft pick this Friday meaning Johnson stays. Doesn't make sense to lose more assets when he can be placed in the 3C role. It will be interesting to see how it goes down. If someone finally ponies up and offers say a 4th or 5th to take Johnson then yes trade him and keep Pally but do not give up any more assets to remove him from the team. The cupboards are already bare.

We don't need to do this and if we do who do we fill the roster with? Joseph and ABB are the 2 best cheap, young guys we have. It's much better to just trade Palat and fill the roster out with guys that already would have made the NHL if they were on any other team (ABB, Colton, Foote, Raddysh, Stephens, Katchouk)
