they are so weak down the middle, which is shocking as there was some decent C options available. There has to be side deals in play.

The NHL should have threatened reporters with pulling their press passes if they leaked the picks.

They probably would have been leaked anonymously anyway, this was just a poor design

Macdermid as far as his playing ability is concerned is as close to the definition of a pilon as you can have. And I actually really like him. He’s 6’5 with a long reach but he’s pretty lumbering when it comes to skating ability. There was talk of converting him to a forward but idk about that. He’s a true heavyweight and can be very intimidating. When he played in the AHL he led the league in Penalty minutes I believe. He’s has a long reach that makes it harder on other fighters to land or deflect punches so I think fans will take a liking to him and all his teammates will love him. Check out some fights he had with Lucic from a year or two ago. They were awesome and barn burners to say the least
