Quantity does not trump quality. You haven't answered the Avs need for a young high potential defenseman so the answer is no.

Both Miller and Zboril are viewed as high potential defensemen. Miller is starting to show why now that he's been given a green light to jump into offensive plays under Cassidy.

Really? Miller and Zboril are not in the same realm as McAvoy. If he's not included, it's a big old no from the Avs.

Yeah neither of them are McAvoy type prospects. Miller is older (still only 24), but is progressing nicely now that he's being given constant minutes, and could become a solid top-4 guy. And Zboril, while untested in the NHL has all the intangibles to be great, he just has a few attitude/confidence problems that some teams think are negatively affecting his game. He was a force before he was drafted, and then it seemed to go to his head, but this year he seems like he might be back to where he was.
