It really seems like Dougie is going to be gone, so this assumes that and also that Francis takes Bean. Went with bridge deals for Svech and Ned, and Reimer is a solid backup that lets us spend in other areas.

Secondary scoring was the Canes biggest issue, and adding Garland really helps that. It's a big price, but I think it's worth it especially considering that 1st is #27 and we have a solid pipeline as is. Also, this gives Foegle the bigger opportunity that he wants in Arizona. Do y'all think this is too much/good value/not enough?

Defense is so tough without Dougie and Bean, there is just so little offense and not much in the FA class either. Gotta hope Gardiner is healthy and can mend fences with RBA, he apparently played in some tournament after the season so that's a good sign. I really like Hamonic as a 3rd pairing guy you can rely on for a reasonable price. I originally wanted to sign Suter to round out the D, but that'd be 4 LHD, and considering we shipped Haydn out for nothing just to get a 3/3 split, I assume they'll look to keep the balance. Manson could be a good fit, and I'm curious to hear what y'all think about that trade and if that will get the deal done.

Biggest hole with this is scoring from the back end, but hopefully we get a Gardiner resurgence and Brady learns how to hit the net. Improved depth up front should make up for this as well.
