Think you need Suzuki or Caufield to get Jack.

Understandably so haha they're great players. Just not sure Buffalo makes a deal without one of them.

Let's for arguments sake say that your trades do go through.

Suzuki and Romanov have to get paid the following year with only Chariot and Kulaks money coming off the books. You'd have to fill those spots plus sign Suzuki and Romanov.

The year after is Caulfield, with no money coming off the books. Might be best to find a goaltender a little cheaper than Grub to split time with Allen.

Coleman has said he's not playing in Canada. Guessing especially not in Montreal with it's 33% provincial income tax rate.

KK isnt close to Eichels value, Montreals first is 31st overall now, the Sabres dont need Guhle - they need forwards, Drouin is 27 and may not play next year. Any deal with MTL has to start with Suzuki or Caufield or they wont even come close, theres nothing else that MTL has to keep Buffalo's attention

Can't really argue...was giving 5 first rounders to put it big ..but yeah the only thing possible in my trade is that Bergevin have steal so much trade.

ok guys im going back to my draw sheet, and will forgot about Eikel, not because Suzuki and Caufield are better, far from it, but we need to built around them to solidify what we start this year.

      Thanks for the reality check

Think its possible to manage, would be a happy problem if i land, Eikel, Hamilton and Grubaur.
Romanov take Chiarot contract, 2 young guns fill third pairing.
Save 1M..already have 2M in bank..need 2M more for Suzuki, if cap still freeze..i go with transaction to clear some space (Armia).
Year after for Caufield...save 2 with Allen hopping Primeau finally ready..and manage the little gap missing.

But yeah theres some other interesting goalie that cost half and could bring victory.

Was going really for the best in my fantasy team.

Good catch, another roughly $1.1M to play with. Could very well be enough.

IF BUF is adamant about having either Suzuki or Caulfield as part of the deal, may be best to just walk away and let your young guys grow into their roles.

Yep, for my part I prefer we grow and mold our own instead of paying for Eichel or an equivalent
