I really wish Montreal would do this, since the big UFAs won’t want to come here anyway and the Atlantic is very stacked next season. Plus, it allows you to tank for generational talents like Wright, as the next two draft classes are very stacked. Of course, Seattle would have to take Price for this to happen. We have no idea what will happen with Drouin so I just put him on LTIR. I this scenario, Perry would walk after Bergevin tells him Montreal is going to do a mimi-rebuild. Harris and Brook fight it off for the final roster spot.

Having the Coyotes take on 2 years of Andrew Ladd cost the Islanders 2 2nds and a Conditional 3rd, so considering Neal has a slightly bigger deal, that the Habs are also taking on Koskinen and that Holland is the Oilers GM (lol), I think a package equivalent to 3 2nds (same package than the Ladd trade, but with an upgraded). Since the Oilers don’t have a 2021 2nd, I replaced him with Lavoie. Think of the 3rd being the price for Lehkonen, who is added so the Oilers can get an NHL body in return.

The Atlantic is very stacked and we might miss the playoffs anyway, so we may as well focus on youth and do a mini 1-2 year rebuild and then try to contend again when Boston is older and Tampa suffers more cap casualties, allowing us to be more likely make the playoffs.

Wild aren't doing this. Easily no from wild. Wild have Joel Eriksson covering 2-3c. Wild have prospect c Marco Rossi, Marat Khusnutdinov, Alexander khovanov,,connor dewar etc..

Victor Rask has 1 year left. He's not good,,but serviceable.

Wild aren't going to trade a good young player in greenway for prospect whose way behind every c prospect

Wild can easily get a 5-6d like ben in free agency by resigning Ian Cole, brennan Menell, signing other d in free agency
