Issue for Montreal is that Buffalo has no incentive to trade Eichel to a rival.

Montreal would need to make a massive offer to get Buffalo to do it

There is no trade without Suzuki or Caufield. KK is not that valuable and their pick is not that valuable. Drouin is not a positive value and the Sabres dont need dmen, They have nothing to offer that will keep Buffalos attention

Trading Jack Eichel to a division rival would cost far more then this, Noway does Kevyn Adams accept that for Eichel.

Come on man…. This is laughable
Eichel is gonna cost WAY MORE than that
Especially to move him to a division rival
Let’s be realistic here

Issue for Buffalo is Montreal has no incentive to trade for an injured player who has a good risk of never playing hockey again after surgery.

So you either have to wait until he is FULLY recovered of take futures without any roster players

I agree with the fact that Buffalo has no incentive to trade him within the division. I don’t agree that 4 first round picks isn’t enough. With Dahlin, Powers, Guhle BUF’s blueline would be one of the most promising in the league. You get 2 roster players including a young C and another 1st round pick. Unless Minny offers Boldy + Rossi +, doubt the package Buffalo gets will be much higher than this

I just think that unless an Eastern team completely overpays, the Sabres will send him West. If the trade packages are at all close, I think they send him as far away as they can

I think your trade miss something like a Mysak or a Ylonen and a 2nd but Sabres fans thinking Suzuki and a lot is worthing Eichel rn is delusionnal. Even Suzuki for Eichel 1 for 1 i woulnd't done it

If Minnesota offers this Sabres should take it and run away it's a lot and I think it's risky too cause if he get's hurt the wild gets ****ed.

I just dont see Eichel being traded in the division. It puts a target on Adams back if it backfires whereas Eichel is forcing a deal so the GM is sorta off the hook if he goes and dominates in Minnesota or LA

This.

GMs are too risk adverse in this league especially a newish GM like Adams

It would surprises me but we don't know if they're discussion between Adams and Bergevin

Adams has the worst job in the NHL xd, whatever he does he's in trouble

MTL isn't getting Eichel and thinking a deal centerpieced around KK is equally delusional. Yes a fair amount of sabres fans on this site overvalue Eichel but a cap dump, a LD prospect (we don't need), KK, and the 2nd latest 1st in the league is not enough, let alone for a division rival to acquire Eichel. And no, adding Ylonen and a 2nd doesn't really fix that

I was more thinking of 1rst 2021, conditionnal 2nd 2022 (1rst if habs makes playoffs and Eichel played at least 70 games), KK, Mysak, Brook and Drouin

The only issues is the division xd
