Horvat is not being dealt unless we get a top pairing D not a overvalued winger like Buch.

I don't feel this deal moves the needle. I like Horvat, but I like Buchnevich more. I don't believe you assume I thought Buchnevich was worth Eichel or Stamkos? I obviously mean a bigger deal for one of those players.

It makes VAN much worse that's for sure. Horvat is the engine of the team who plays all situations/special teams, defensive matchups, takes key faceoffs, respected leader on/off ice etc. Also why would VAN move a top 6 center especially there Captain for a winger? Doesn't make any sense.

Bruh Horvat is the heart of the team. He is untouchable. No reason to trade him for a winger when we have so many. Centers are what we need, players like Horvat is what need. There is not a single reason that canucks do this. If you feel there are any reasons why we do this, feel free to educate me….

Yeah no. Miller is great for the wing and gives us the flexibility to deploy him as a center in case of an injury. Again, absolutely no incentive to get rid of Horvat as he is the true 2C. Buch doesn’t really fit in as we have a lot of wingers in our top 6… I also doubt Horvat will try to pry as much money out as he can. He is playing like a 6 million dollar player and if that’s what he wants, that’s what he deserves. He has been driving the team since he was drafted.
