The coyotes would likely lose Hill for nothing to Seattle so I think it was bets they got a return for them

I think Hill just has a tad more value than Korenar, but the 2nd round pick puts the value way on the Coyotes' side.

That seems like a lot for Hill.

This is a really good trade for Arizona however I’m a little high on Hill.

If anyone wins this trade it’s the Yotes but Hill has potential. Fair trade is my opinion but that 2nd is huge for Arizona and Korenar isn’t a slouch of a prospect.

A potential top 40 pick for an unproven goalie with a career-high 9 wins? A 2nd round pick should have solved San Jose's goaltending, not leaving it as a question mark.

Same I’m a fan of Hill too but we knew he was gonna get picked up by Seattle so it was bets the coyotes got something in return for him

Double win for ARI : get something out of Hill (SEA would have taken him) and get massive value out of his 40ish NHL games

Exactly, plus even if we like Hill, Arizona really faired well here. This could bite SJ in the butt. Likely not Arizona (unless they waste the picks or Korenar completely falls apart too).

Hill is good, but not this good, especially if it was a forced move due to ExD. Classic old L for Wilson.

Coyotes just fumbled themselves out of Kuemper probably Raanta and Hill in 2 days and got a Josef Korenar instead and a 2nd round pick to ruin the career of some poor soul

Armstrong pulls in a second round pick for an unproven goalie likely Seattle bound anyway, SJ gets a good young goalie that they’re able to protect in expansion draft. The fact that it’s a second round pick makes this a win for AZ but it’s a solid deal for both sides IMO
