More like helping Ottawa out. You're gonna have to do better than a second and mete does nothing for us. Rather lose him to Seattle over this

So, basically, you'd rather give Dunn away for free.

Interesting set of priorities you have.

Because we still have to give someone to Seattle. So now we're giving up Dunn and Blais for a 2nd. When we could just lose Dunn and keep Blais.

You're intentionally ignoring that the Blues are getting Mete.

You would be giving up Dunn for a 2nd and Mete.

      My post is crystal clear.

Whatever happens to Blais is completely irrelevant to this trade and this post because you would probably be exposing him anyway.

Blais is a 4th line player on most NHL teams, so losing him to Seattle would not be the end of the world.

Since it's after 5 PM Eastern and all the protection lists are submitted, it is pointless for you to come back to this post and argue about an issue that's completely moot.

      You should know better.

I mad bro? As stated before Mete has zero use for us and doesn't even make our lineup. So pass. The only thing of interest is the 2nd round pick that's a borderline third.

As far as Blais or any other member on the Blues, they are relevant to this trade. Because the entire reason the Blues are looking to trade Dunn is because of protection slots. So if we give away Dunn for this garbage return, then we have to turn around and lose another player in the expansion draft. All things considered, it would just be better to lose him.

And since it's after the 5 p.m. deadline and the point is entirely moot you should know better then to get so offended.

      1. Yeah, you mad bro smile

      2. Your D pairings would be as follows:

      Krug/Faulk
      Scandella/Parayko
      Mete/Bortuzzo

If there is anybody currently in the Blues organization that would easily replace Mete on the 3rd pairing, I'd love to hear about him.

      3. This "garbage" return is basically involves the same kind of return as the Graves/Leddy trades.

Both trades involve two teams in desperate need to trade away a player that will be taken by Seattle.

The Avs and the Islanders still need to turn around and lose another player in the expansion draft.

So, there's nothing unique about the situation that the Blues find themselves in compared to other teams.

      4. And since it's after the 5PM deadline and the point is entirely moot, you should know better than to get so triggered.

So, a guy that has never played a game in the NHL and that won an award last year for baking honey.

I bet his honey tastes yummy.

      Yum Yum.
