For some bizarre reason, the notion of throwing way too much money at Oleksiak suddenly became fairly popular in Blues forums. It's wacky, man. Not only is he one of the worst D-men in the entire league at exiting the zone, but Blues fans have watched the team regularly flambé the guy for years. It's mind boggling.

Most everything seems backwards these days, so maybe absolute chaos is the new normal?
