If you're curious I made a AGM yesterday from the Red Wings point of view explaining why I don't think Bertuzzi won't be a Leaf, pretty much pointing out why most Leafs AGMs wouldn't interest Detroit. I checked before typing this and if you filter Detroit AGMs it's one of the first 10 that come up

If Zach Hyman is getting $5.8Mx7 from Edmonton then Bertuzzi is getting more then $4.0Mx4 he'll want similar money.

If Sandin, Robertson or Amirov aren't involved, I feel this would be a good trade.
Liljegren, Abramov, Mikheyev and a first.
Mikheyev doesn't really add any value, he is more a cap dump for Toronto but he would fill a middle six hole on the wing until prospects are ready. Liljegren adds a waiver exempt RD option as we don't have anything after Hronek, Seider, Stetcher and Lindstrom. Abramov adds to centre prospect depth. First is going to be late, hopefully for Toronto last 8 of the round.

Fair. I just want Bertuzzi as he seems to be the only guy I feel can adequately replace Hyman as that top line power forward that won't require being overpaid. Going of rumours that the Leafs were linked to him
