I'm not sure I want Big Z, but I think that playing style is what they are still looking for, even after yesterday. Based on Fitzgerald's comments, seems like he is committed to having pairs with one offensive minded blueliner paired with a bigger, defensive minded, player. If you believe that, I would assume Smith, Sever & PK are your offensive guys and Graves & Siegenthaler are your defensive minded guys. Unless you want to take a chance on Bahl, Okhotyuk or one of the other youngsters filling that role, I think someone similar to Graves is what Fitz might be looking for. Guess we will see soon.

I suppose they could use him but if they lose Skjei and are left with Bean I’m not sure the fit is right. Need RD more than LD and have similar concerns with Bean and Gardiner as it seems I would have with Butcher. Interesting concept tho, especially at retained salary
