Holtby is not a viable option at all. 20 goalies provide better value this UFA season and expansion draft selection.

Why would Johnson waive for any Canadian team, it's already been reported here in Tampa that Johnson has no desire to play in Canada he wants the States only like most Americans that don't want to play in Canada Seth jones and Blake Coleman are two others that wont play in Canada.

If you want a legit reason, he's not leaving no tax Florida for high tax Vancouver he's going to lose quite a bit of money playing in any Canadian city compared to playing in Tampa.

Well it was reported here in Tampa that he wouldn't play in Canada, but obviously Treliving gave him what he wanted.
