This could be as exciting as it gets for the Jets this off-season!

- Copp takes Winnipeg to arbitration, gets his 1 year "payday."

- Arbitration avoided with Pionk, extends long-term.

- Vesalainen given an opportunity. Starts season on first line with Scheifele and Ehlers. If it doesn't work out, he could drop to a "kid line" with Gustafsson (whom he has shown chemistry with in the minors) and Harkins.

- Wheeler and Connor move to "1B" line, with hope PLD gets off to a good start.

- Take advantage (somewhat) of Tampa Bay's cap situation and add a RD.

- Stanley given bridge deal with plans of increased opportunity/responsibility to "see what we have" in the big guy!

- Gustafsson given a shot centering fourth line, Harkins to his left. Heinola starts season with the big club, but I imagine leash is short! Beaulieu sits as 7D for as long as Maurice can stand it!! And Berdin is given shot in the back-up role.

- Perreault is brought back, plus usual smattering of depth veterans when Maurice decides the kids have had enough!
