Description
Alrighty long ass explanation time

Virtanen: Buyout makes sense cuz we don't gotta pay much and he sucks

Petey and Hughes: Both are leaning towards bridge deals, according to Dhaliwal, Petey is aiming for Barzal range and Hughes is unknown so I went to dobber hockey projections. They had him at 5.8 I lowered it cuz he sucked this year lol.

Hamonic: Discussions are going on between his agent and Benning. Hamonic liked it in Vancouver and in my opinion didn't have enough time to gel with Hughes (due to injury). So I'd give him another year and see if he's able to be good defensively and help Hughes out a bit. If he doesn't come back, I'd look towards a guy like Savard on a two year deal. Whether he signs or not I don't know but he would fit the criteria of the type of defender the Canucks are looking for.

Graovac and Lind: Always liked Graovac. Good work ethic and has been a decent bottom sixer for us in the past I think he's good at 4C. Start Lind on line 4 I believe he started line 3 towards the end of last year. Shows promise and if he is able to impress, he can move up during the year.

Edler and Juolevi: Edler OG. Sorry guys gotta bring em back and it's looking like he'll be back anyways according to Donnie and Dhaliwal. Juolevi shows promise but turd Green won't play him enough which I think is a mistake. Hope he turns out to be good .

Podkolzin makes the jump and starts line 3

Granlund signing: Nashville is headed towards a rebuild I think and I do like Granlund as a playmaking/two way forward. He is interchangable with Highmore at 3C but I'd start someone of his caliber in the top six. The money seems fine, not sure about the years at that point I'm just offering whatever makes sense for the Nucks and in two years, lots of contracts will be off the books. Both good and bad.

Schmidt: Gotta go. He's a similar case like Hamonic who didn't have enough to gel with the roster, but only difference is it costs us a significant amount of money. He is also being shopped around by Benning, as both parties look for a way out.

Already explained the Eriksson move of course doubt it happens and we will likely lose Holtby which I'm more than happy with

Go easy on me lmao don't forget to like, subscribe, and comment your suggestions/reactions/bullying lol ya byeee

Benning won't do this cuz he silly but this seems like the best move for the Nucks, and Seattle gets a second rounder in a deep draft (no big time stars but definitely deep regardless)

Hamonic definitely makes more but you have the cap space... that bottom six would get absolutely dumped on

That Seattle trade is not realistic.

Yes I know. In the trade explanation I said "Benning won't do this cuz he silly" implying in reality it won't happen but that's what I'd do

Hamonic doesn't have much to show for last year at least but maybe he does make more. As for the bottom six, the fourth line is looking quite competent to me, and the third line looks good too. Highmore has been a good add and was playing with Horvat and Hoglander for the most part I believe so yeah I'm excited for that. Plus if needed, Granlund can go 3C. Podkolzin is gonna be good I hope so yeah 3rd line looks like a good place to start

I understand but what I'm saying is there is now way that is enough to dump Eriksson to Seattle. Just today LeBrun said that Seattle's price to take your player is astronomical (his word not mine). On top of that Eriksson is a cap dump with a sh*tty buyout. I don't think anyone will take him for less than a first.

I see what you're saying. But I doubt Eriksson considering only a year is left on his deal now will be given a first. Especially considering this is a higher second round pick in my opinion it suffices. If Eriksson had more than 1 year remaining it's a different story. This what I would try going for if I were the GM, of course IRL Benning lacks the brains, and Seattle wants an overpay but yep you get what I'm tryna say

We will just have to disagree about the value of his dump but that's ok. Cheers!
