Why did you trade Palat and Killorn for futures when you have 8 mil in cap

I think you're really undervaluing Palat and Killorn.

Palat and killorn won't be worth more than they are right now and if they would to get more than i put thats great but i didn't want it to be lopsided. Need all the cap space they can get because Point, cirelli, sergy and cernak are all up next summer.

Probably am but trying to get the point across all the things tampa could do with their cap space and both players would be traded for by other teams

that contract is buy-out friendly if you look it up and has at least 2 more years before its actually horrible. especially being the third best player in all of playoffs for a back to back Stanley cup team. May hate the team and maybe the contract but it does have major value now.. especially after that keith deal

I think the Blues might like that a great deal, actually. And they'd probably beat one of those offers for either Palat or Killorn, too.
