Seattle can just take Clifton anyway, so it's essentially just a 5th to dump Moore. I think it'll cost a bit more, plus you didn't even use the extra cap space so why bother giving up assets to trade him? The Bruins can also just bury his contract anyway and save about $1m. I think that extra money should go to Reilly, he would be a solid bottom pair guy. I would love to see Suter sign here though.

not a fan of the smith trade and the parise contract. Tatar is at a huge discount this FA and can be picked up for roughly the same value. Suter is also better off in a reduced role and should not be counted on to be a top pairing guy on a good team. Smith is a great 2nd line guy for us and can play 3rd line as well if Vlad plays better.
