Description

Kotkaniemi needs to be put in a situation that will give him confidence and help him further progress as a player, playing with Kaprizov and Zucc will help him tremendously vs playing 3rd line minutes in Montreal. Montreal needs some size up front to go along with Josh Anderson, Greenway can play as a top 6 winger, added in a 1st as well.

Jesper Boqvist can play 3C until Rossi takes over a center spot and then Boqvist can switch to winger.

He’s played 3rd line ever since Kaprizov showed up to spread the wealth offensively. Our first line is essentially a line to shut down opposing teams 1st lines because they can do it so well. He plays just as many minutes as the 2nd liners. If we were to put Kaprizov with Fiala our other lines wouldn’t produce much offense.

I don’t think he’ll get traded either but its fun to think about. If the right deal we’re to come along I think they’d be willing to part with him but we’ll have to see.

Montreal seems to have plenty of wingers, so I gotta believe they keep KK. Except for Suzuki the Habs don't have great centre depth. Staal and Denault are UFAs. Poehling and Evans are iffy NHLers

Yeah for sure. My guess is if they traded him it would be for another center
