Iafallo, Kempe, Lemieux, Grundstrom, Athanasiou plus about 5 others in a pinch = guys who can play LW in the NHL for us

Bottom line : we won't be trading one for the other

We did get Kerfoot though! Which automatically makes it a win for SJ. If the leafs added either one of NHL superstars Mikheyev or Engvall it would be too much of a fleecing though.

Plus Labanc is such a terrible player compared to every leafs depth player that SJ should retain 160% of Labanc’s salary.

I mean it sounds like the Sharks are shopping Labanc and that his contract is a burden according to some in the media. As someone who doesnt really watch Sharks games unless its on national TV/in the playoffs, it sounds like Labanc has been meh since the 2019 conference final run. Lets not pretend he is worth a ton, like so many Sharks fans think he is.

He’s worth way more than what’s here though. If anyone argues Labancs contract is a burden, they’re just lying. At the moment it’s slightly pricy at the worst.
