Reinhart will get 6.5-7.0

thats not happening at all. He had one good year and is a RFA meaning boston would have complete control. There is no way he gets as much as Pastrnak Marchand etc. 5 Mil is market value for him currently. Maybe the term would be lessened as he may want to prove himself more I could see a 5x3

One good year? He’s been a 50 point player throughout his career. He’s not taking a pay cut either.

agreed with a Q/O of 5.2M, the only way he get 5.2M is again for 1yr
you need at least 5.75M for 5 yrs... and that's a really low offer
EDIT: and as per Sabres fans, Reinhart sucks ass and swallows as a centerman, he's a lot better a the RW position
No one is addressing the most serious aspect of the trade.
The Boston first is 20th OA in a very soft draft.
Lauzon and Zboril are defensemen. Once Reinhart is traded they will need RW as Thompson is the only young RW signed for next year.
If Adams accepted this offer he should be fired.
He would be giving Sam away for nothing.
A near 2nd round pick and two defensemen when Buffalo has decent depth defense prospect pool.
I do not think Boston has the assets to pry Reinhart out of Buffalo.
If you think Buffalo would accept this trade because Lauzon and Zboril could be flipped, well then let Boston do that and trade those assets to Buffalo.
I have no faith that Adams who has no experience as a GM would get fair value for them.
