I’m personally high on Schmidt. I think last year was as rough of a situation for him as there was in nhl so I’d bet he does bounce back. But I feel like wild are looking for different types of returns if they move Dumba. Ideally in a package to upgrade at C or to get assets to use in a separate deal.

I like the TB trade, fills some glaring holes on the team. For me I would probably use the Sutter $'s and some of the available cap to sign a legit 3C, then you have a pretty nice and balanced forward group.

I don't think MIN does that trade but I definitely like the idea of adding a top 4 right side D in Dumba's age range.

I think Edler and Hamonic want more dollars and term, however you have a bit of cap space to work with.

Who you got going to Seattle?

Dumba is doing just fine in MIN. Not to mention he’s 3 years younger and has 2 years less term….

There’s zero reason for the wild to do that dumba trade. He doesn’t need any kind of chance of scenery at all. Vancouver would need to add big time to do a Schmidt/dumba trade.

Nate schmidt isn't good. There's no chance wild are trading a better, cheaper player in dumba who was really good this year for a worse player, worse contract and term player in nate schmidt.

Wild cap is important to them. Nate schmidt is a cap dump coming off two straight poor seasons, with 25 games suspension on his record for steroids

Schmidt is good and there is market for him - just because you think a trade is unfair doesnt mean a player is trash.

In all reality Dumba hasnt done anything in 2 years and at $6m a year is extremely overpaid - based on Schmidts career metrics, the wild should be Vancouver the better picks

This is blatantly misleading, & false. Yeah that is why Vancouver wants to rid of him. You can't just make up facts, & think oh you don't watch wild, & think wild fans like myself will just say okay

Nate schmidt is nothing more than a cap dump. Vancouver paid a 3rd round pick to get him, and again the stats are out there along with eyes test. There's nothing you can say that will be acceptable for any wild fans to agree to trade a better, younger, and cheaper player in dumba for worse, more expensive player in schmidt

You can't just make up facts, & think oh you don't watch wild [CANUCKS], & think wild [CANUCK] fans like myself will just say okay.

Schmidts metrics and underlying stats embarrasses Dumba - Yes Dumba may score more points in a season - or he did 2 years ago when he was good.
Dumba defensively and first pass out of zone is horrible. There is reason Vancouver laughed the wild off the phone when they called and offered dumba for Boeser.

Vancouver doesnt to trade Schmidt - He asked to be traded.

There are teams interested. Teams that will chose him over the overpaid paper weight Dumba

Right, like Nate schmidt isn't a cap dump. You are literally just trilling. Good luck with teams supposedly paying for bad player with crap contract, two years of poor play, miserable cap count, & steroid suspension on record
