Can’t see any motivation from boston to do that. Blows up their cap, makes the team older. Seems like if hall re-signs the top six is pretty set, and it wouldn’t make much sense to be adding an 8.25 million third liner for their top two prospects and a first.

Jets were incredibly thin on RD the past two seasons yet he never got into an NHL game. He was behind Beaulieu, Poolman, Niku and Benn (when arrived after the deadline).

That was an incredibly poor decision in my opinion, Nogier could've been a serviceable 3rd pair dman who PK'd which is all most 3rd pair dmen are, absolutely pathetic and typical of the Jets that Bitetto was playing while Nogier watched from the press box.
