Dunn will at minimum eat up the rest of that cap space on a 4 year deal - he's closer to 4x4 than what you have here

Trading RW Troy Terry for another young LD to compete with Jacob Larsson and Josh Mahura for playing time makes no sense. A pick in the eighties doesn't change that.

That's a bad trade for the Flames, would probably at least need Thomas included

This is well below what a player like Tkachuk is worth.

Note the massive age difference between Tkachuk and Tarasenko as a starting point. And then consider how many Tkachuk-type players exist in the league versus how many snipers exist. Tkachuk has proven he can score 34 goals in a full season too, which is in line with Tarasenko's production, assuming he's healthy enough to play a full season.

If CGY ever traded Tkachuk, it would be for a package that includes a young stud 1C as part of the deal. This ain't it.
