Description

The Fabbri at center experiment at the beginning of the season was starting to go well, he was getting better at draws and playing the position. Unfortunately an injured Bertuzzi and at times Mantha forced Blashil's hand to play him on the top line, since he needed to get some scoring out of it. This is an imagining of what the lineup would look like if they try Fabbri down the middle again along some small moves. Going with an 8D system since Blashil likes to run that.

Veleno already showed he was better C than Fabbri in the 5 games he played. Unless Yzerman can land a legit top 6 C, just roll with Veleno at 2C and Ras 3C. Let them take their lumps and hopefully they'll use the experience to develop and become better players

No thanks, The Fabbri experiment at 2C failed miserably he's not a Center at the NHL level. Joe Veleno is far more valuable as a 2C then Fabbri. Fabbri is best suited as a LW.
