We get Holloway😎. Assuming Danault isnt coming back and Allen is surely being drafted if exposed, this could make sense for the habs (and of course EDM).

Its for 2 years and im a hab fan😉. Tbf it is indeed a lot to pay for basically Holloway, but I just really want him to play alongside Caufield and Zuke. Hed fit right in. Perhaps, Holloway, Neal, Koskinen for Drouin (1,5 retain), Allen and the RFA rights of Danault assuming he wants too much)

Except Drouintrade its good. You have to find another player than Drouin. Drouin is a star ln the third lkne type pf player

Because Holloway not expendable, and have zero interested Drouin he’s the Habs problem wouldn’t fit in to the team Holland is trying to construct around McDavid and Leon, wingers with size and skill with bite to there game something Drouin isn’t. Allen has shown his whole career he’s not a # 1 guy and he’s older
The oilers are looking for a starter that in his mid 20’s 25-28 that could be their starter for next 5 to 6 yrs fits right in the age group of the core.
This whole trade was you trying to get your hands on Holloway as you know he’s going to be a top 6 stud but he’s not available as the oilers hope in as little as a part season in the AHL he can make a similar impact as Cole did for the Habs
