What's the timeline on Amirov, When is he coming to North America? No thanks on Dermott he's a bottom pairing LD with no value to us. Without either Rielly or Sandin being involved the Leafs don't have the LD what we want. At least this is somewhat more realistic then the other threads on here for Bertuzzi.

RNH is so low because he has full trade protection, and is signing for 2 years longer, through to when he is 36. RNH is coming off a big boy 7x6m contract.
Bertuzzi for 6 years would take him to 32 when his value is decreasing, so this deal would be Bert's big boy contract. Career earnings are under $8m for Bert, over $44m for RNH. A fair longer term deal for Bertuzzi probably starts with a 5. á la Mantha's contract.

Amirov was the 15 pick last year but was said to beat one of the best value picks in the 1st round. He skated in Toronto in may so I’d think that he’d have a shot at the roster in 2022-23. Dermott is also undervalued be redwings fans too much. He can play both sides but hasn’t really gotten a shot in Toronto’s top 4 since our d have improved so much

Do Leaf fans ever overestimate the value of their depth. How in the world do you think Mikheyev and Holl are worth a 2nd and a 3rd? I think maybe you get a 3rd and a 6th for those two. Mikheyev is bottom 6 winger and Holl is a 5/6D that can move up the line-up in a pinch. Those kind of depth players don't take home multiple early round picks.
