Dallas loses Dobby, Dickie, and Kerfoot in this scenario, plus there is a chance they lose Mascherin when passing through waivers. You must hate Dallas.

Really though, if this is post XD, then it might work. I don’t know who they would select from Dallas outside of Dickinson or Dobby. Mascherin would have to make the Seattle roster or he would be lost in waivers. Oleksiak could be bought as since he’s unrestricted.

I wouldn’t oppose moving Dobby to Toronto, possibly for Liljegrin. Dallas lacks RD and RW depth. This would address one weakness.

It’s going to be interesting to see trades happen prior and post XD, especially with Buffalos situation.
