If Oleksiak were to leave Dallas it would be for 4.5+, and for bottom feeders it would be 5-6+.

Has EW changed their formula to account for flat cap prices.

Some of these EW predictions, like Goligoski, seem exceptionally wild.

Interesting. It’s super weird that Palmieri is so low.

And no one wants the NHL’s leading scorer for D, even though it’s basically guaranteed he doesn’t return to Edmonton.

-Just laughed coffee out of my nose at EW's Danault projection. Gonna be some sad Habsters if they were to sign him to that...
-I like the Dreidger contract. Anything more than two years wreaks of Hutton/Koskinen.
-Bigggg Nuge paycut. Guy must love those Edmonton winters.
-Ovi's is interesting.
-I wonder if RNH's contract will affect Landy's?

Wow, some of these numbers seem unbelievable. If they were a GM, some of these signings would be worse than Jim Benning's!!
- Hyman at 7 x $6.85
- Granlund 4 x $5.771
- Ceci 3 x $3.991
- Montour 5 x $5.274
- Glendening 4 x $2.976
- RNH 7 x $8.215 (this one missed the mark by over $3M)
- Barrie 7 x $6.742

We would need a $100M cap to make some of those numbers work.

That Montour contract would be crazy bad.

Wonderful post! Saving this for later

It seems like EW didn't consider COVID & flat cap in their projections...

Did you collect the data from CapFriendly manually? What was your methodology?
