Us Tampa fans, regular NHL fans and Seattle fans can't seem to find a middle ground for TyJo. I bet it's Johnson + a first and maybe Cal Foote?

Johnson from Seattle area gets you zero. If they don't pack the house the first few years the NHL is wasting time in Seattle....

Defenseman are arguably the most important way to start a team. I could see them taking McDonagh in a side deal and slapping the Captaincy on him for the first few years. Still a decent household name.

Goal scoring is something not available in the draft. Killorn or Gourde. I doubt TB gets away from the draft cheaply. Word is Francis is going to make teams pay to take on contracts....
