Description
O Connor, Puustinen and Poulin all compete for the last roster spot but I think Zohorna has it to start the year.

I’d like to sign Ceci but it’s difficult here

    Lol

You can laugh all you want but Edmonton doesn’t want him for the same reason you want to trade him, he’s not the goalie that gets you over the hump.

    Not entirely true. All-star goalie.

Better than anything Edmonton has or has had in a long time.

Fairly Young for a starting goalie. From Alberta. Played for Oil Kings. Flashed brilliance and **** the bed in the playoffs. Pens move on because there is a chance for them to bring back their beloved Fleury.

    Costs a 2nd round pick….

Firstly the Oilers know all about Jarry as you mention and they choose to pass on him in the draft, secondly Smith out played Jarry in both the regular season and the playoffs. funny how every AGM wants to tell you how great a guy is but wants him gone because they want a upgrade
    Once again oilers decline

That's a lot to give for 1 year of Fleury especially if the Knights are shopping him to add Eichel or another big contract. Probably just DeSmith and a pick gets it done while also having to pay for retention

man edm is so so so so so far away from "getting over the hump" you can't win with 4 good players and non of them good in their own zone + all those awful contracts you have
to win you need a deep deep team with great goaltending ....... you have mcdavid draisaitl that's it

plus smith had a good season but watch him go back to a .880 next year

Lol that’s just not true at all. Both lost in the first round. Pens won their division and had more points in the regular season. EDM is in the same boat as the pens. Not a contender

He would obviously resign though. And yes but he did just win the Vezina. But VGK is in tough to move him so could get a decent deal. Lots of teams would be interested too though
