Dominic Toninato has signed a new contract with the Winnipeg Jets.

Was good in the little he played. Maurice also isn’t going to play him over young guys like Vesalainen (as he has shown already). Good signing for the jets.

Great league min signing for the Jets, perfect depth player who played well in his limited games down the stretch for us.

Solid depth forward. Toninato looked solid in the few games he played for the Jets this season. Nice that he's going to stay with them, but hopefully he can play in the lineup more often.

Good depth signing. Played well with both the Moose and as a 4th liner for the Jets. Also gives the Jets added expansion draft flexibility as he now counts towards the exposure requirements.

I mean we know he won’t be playing in the lineup every night but is a good 13th option in case of injury

Toninato played in 46 regular season games in 2019-20 and two in 2020-21. Must have played in a minimum of 54. He does not meet the requirements to be exposed. Jets will likely have two forwards exposed in Harkins and Lowry/Appleton.

I think he at least gets a spot this season

Toninato played 46 games in 2019-20. 2 in 2020-21. He's ineligible. It could be a mistake on the tool.

I misread the 40+ games, it's listed as just 20/21, sorry. Regardless, Tominato is displayed as meeting the requirements. Perhaps @Banks can explain?

The 27/54 is for exposure requirements. Every team must expose 2F/1D/1G that meet the exposure requirements.

Eligibility is 2 pro season, of which he has 4.
